The City of Racine COVID-19 Testing Resumes September 16th at Festival Hall

As cases surge, testing resumes at Festival Hall through December 13th

City of Racine – Today, City of Racine Public Health Administrator Dottie-Kay Bowersox announced that National Guard COVID-19 testing will resume this Thursday, September 16th, from Noon to 6pm. The National Guard will resume regular weekly testing through December 13th on Mondays and Thursdays from Noon until 6pm.

“As we have seen the number of positive cases climb this past month, the Health Department anticipates there will be an increased demand for community testing. We thank the State of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin National Guard for the continued and expanded support. It is our hope that this additional capacity will provide the community a vital resource for those individuals looking to get tested for COVID-19,” said Dottie-Kay Bowersox, Public Health Administrator for the City of Racine.

Testing will not be available on the following holidays

  • Columbus Day – Monday, October 11th
  • Veterans Day – Thursday, November 11th
  • Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 25

As a reminder, National Guard testing is drive through with a walk-up option. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged at register.covidconnect.wi.gov to save time at the test site. Testing is free of charge and open to anyone 12 months or older (parent/guardian must accompany minors). You do not have to be symptomatic to get tested.
