Free At-Home Tests:
Note: This program will end on Friday, September 2, 2022.
At-home tests can be purchased at pharmacies, stores, and even online retailers. Additionally, each household is eligible to request rapid, at-home COVID-19 tests from the federal government. Visit www.covidtests.gov to submit a request. Be aware of scam websites that try to replicate the official test-request site but will only steal your personal information. Make sure that you are on the official site, linked here.
The Federal Government now also requires health insurance companies to cover the cost of at-home COVID-19 tests purchased through pharmacies and retailers, up to $12 per test. Your insurer may cover the cost up-front, or may reimburse you for the cost after providing proof of purchase. Click here to learn more.
