Updates for the week of Sept. 28:

  • Mirroring trends across the state, the City of Racine and Central Racine County health departments are seeing a sharp uptick in COVID-19 cases. We reiterate the urgent need to maintain social distancing, wear a face covering in public, stay home when sick or quarantined, and practice good hygiene to reduce the rate of community transmission.
  • The Wisconsin National Guard is hosting a community drive-thru testing clinic at Festival Hall beginning Monday, Sept. 28, through Wednesday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Residents can pre-register by visiting covidconnect.wi.gov.
  • Evers has declared a new public health emergency in Wisconsin due to the recent surge in cases, particularly among young people, and issued a new face coverings order. A copy of the executive order can be found here.
